Ahhhh Barcelona! I love it here. The weather has been great: two days of sun, one day of humid windy stormy threats of rain, one day of crazy rain. We arrived in the evening and checked into the apartment we are renting for 8 days. We weren't really sure what to expect but it's great. Perfect downtown location, kitchen, a bathroom that has an actual toilet and not just a hole in the floor, and roommates! Two other rooms in the apartment. One older couple who leave early and come home late and a young Italian couple who stay home all day chain smoking and arguing. Maybe I shouldn't love it but I do. We have a full kitchen so we have been cooking breakfast and dinner everyday. There is the most amazing market near by which deserves and will get its own post because it is just that special.
