Santorini is the place to be

Yesterday we walked to Fira to watch the sun set over the Caledera. On the way there we found these cute cats cuddling.

There are stray cays and dogs everywhere. EVERYWHERE. It's really sad and I want to take them all home with me. But they all seem pretty healthy and well fed so I think people must take care of them. Also, sometimes they just wander into shops and no one seems to care?
Anyway. The sunset was just another sunset. You've seem them before I'm sure but whatever just look at my pictures ok?

Not too bad, right? While we were sitting there this cute cat strolled up to us meowing really loudly like it was dying or at least seriously injured. We thought he might be hungry so we offered him some peanuts but it turned out he just really wanted attention.

Then he literally jumped into Anthony's lap and took a nap. He was so sweet!! (Mom don't show this next picture to Gwen or Meatloaf because they might get jealous)

Then he sat on my lap of awhile.

But then a dog came and scared the cat away.

We started to walk home but the dog that scared our cat-friend away followed us. Then his buddy joined in and we had two new dog friends that would not leave us alone. I think they expected us to take them home and feed them or something? Not sure, but we had to go hide in a grocery store until they left. Then we stopped to watch the sun set a bit further.

Then we ate some peanuts

But wait! There's more...

The owner of the hotel, Poppi, does this really cute thing where she just surprises you with plates of food. I'm not even kidding. The other day we were sitting by the pool and she brought us out plates of pasta and cocktails. Then yesterday she knocked on our door and handed us a plate of rice and bread. I forgot to take a picture of the food but here's the aftermath:

And just like an hour ago, Anthony went down to the lobby to pay for an extra week (because obviously we are staying here an extra week, why wouldn't we?) and she gave him this really yummy orzo and steak dish to take back with him. Free food and cats everywhere. Best. Vacation. Ever.
