Christmas Times

The weekend before Christmas a group of us volunteers went to a center for disabled children that is slowly further out of town then our center. Because of the remote location the center doesn't have many volunteers to come hang out with the kids. We were initially told we were going to a children's hospital, then an orphanage, then we got there and it was a center much like the one Anthony and I live/work at. But this center was actually quite a bit cleaner (including the kids). Anyway, it was so much fun! We wrapped presents, played with kids, helped with games and performed a little song and dance. And there was a tv crew there so now we are famous.
Whenever you go somewhere to conduct business or meet someone important they always serve you green tea. Also it's the best green ever.
The kids are so great! They have like zero inhibitions or sense of stranger-danger. Someone will just run up, grab your hand and start playing. Most of the kids here were deaf so we had fun trying to communicate, using the limits sign language we know along with charades.
We left to go eat dinner at a local noodle shop and I made this really cute face:
So awkward it hurts
Anthony ate silk worms.
Then we went back for performances
