July was pretty eventful: a wedding, a campout and a painting retreat.
(Kinda disappointed that I didn't take more pictures! Ah well)

Me crying at the wedding, Anthony laughing at me. Typical. |
The day after the wedding we headed to Washington for Anthony's annual family campout where we spent a lot of time eating, talking, and studying.
 |
lounging by the fire (and roasting wienies and marshmallows) |
 |
studying for the MCAT (on vacation! now that's commitment) |
 |
looking at bugs? |
 |
learning to ride a 3-wheeler! and I didn't crash it! |
While we we in WA, we decided on an impromptu trip to Seattle to check out the King Tut exhibit at the Pacific Science Center. I find ancient Egypt incredibly fascinating so the exhibit was pretty interesting. I was a bit disappointed that his actual mummy wasn't there (just a replica) but obviously they can't cart that all over the world.

Found a setting on our camera that makes normal-sized things look miniature.
Not sure of the purpose but it was fun to play with |
Next we headed south to the oregon Coast to join a painting retreat put on by our friends every year. (Anthony is the painter, not me). Anthony spent every day painting with his friends and I spent most days studying for the MCAT. (Seriously, why did choose to spend my summer like this?!) On studying break I was able to take long walks on the beach which was the perfect way to recharge!
We had such an amazing time and I hope we get to do this every year. We are so lucky to know this amazing group of people!
I have more pictures on my phone by I'm having a tough time loading them. Hopefully I can add them in later.
