Santorini, Greece

This place is amazing. We were going to hop around the Greek islands until we fly to Hanoi on December 14th, but we might just stay here the entire time. Ok, not the entire time but definitely longer than planned. Love it here. Everywhere you look there is a breathtaking view or something to photograph. A lot of hiking and beaches to walk.

Our hotel is pretty awesome. The owner, Poppi, picked us up at the airport and then made a little pasta dinner with fresh bread for us for no charge. Our room only has a small kitchenette so we have been eating snacky meals of fruit/veggies, nuts, Greek yogurt and of course Santorini wine. They have a pool here, but so far it's been too windy to use it. It's like 70 degrees (perfect!) and sunny but not exactly pool weather.

Yesterday we walked the steps of Fira. There are about 600 steps leading from the town of Fira down to the port. The stairs wind back and forth back and forth because it's so steep. You can hire donkeys to take you up or down. But to be honest, I couldn't do that. The poor donkeys seems super bummed out to be trucking people up and down the hill all day and who could blame them? It took us about 40 minutes to all back up and I was covered in sweat and panting like a dog. It was some intense cardio. My legs are like jelly today and we have another huge hike planned for tonight. I have no idea why we are doing all this hard work on vacation. We should just be lounging on the beach.

Anyway, I haven't loaded the pictures from my camera yet, so here are a few crappy Instagrams to tide you over.
